What is Diabegen™?
Diabegen™ is a genetic test which analyzes the main type 2 diabetes-associated genetic variants and offers personalized information for comprehensive intervention in the treatment of people with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.
What does the test consist of?
Diabegen™ analyzes 16 SNPs in 16 genes which are associated with type 2 diabetes physiopathology in all ethnicitie.
The Diabegen™ algorithm integrates genotype and phenotype data. It has been clinically validated in large multiethnic population cohorts with over 8,000 patients.

How is the test performed?
Taking a buccal epithelium sample (painless) or blood sample. It is a simple swab sample that you can take yourself.

The results report provides information on the patient’s genetic profile and personalized recommendations on physical activity, nutrition, supplements, and pharmacology.
